This is exactly as advertised: light weight yet sturdy enough to use as a sofa, reasonably easy to assemble (give it about an hour with a cordless drill), nice looking in its simplicity. I like that it folds across the short dimension of the mattress, so when it's folded up as a couch it doesn't take up much wall space. And it's got these little plastic wheels that don't look like much but actually work really well to reposition it when you want to pull it out as a bed.

Review of Bombo Modern Bar Stool - Black Leather (Set of 2)

The chairs were received with no real instructions. When the chairs were assembled,the piston, which is supposed to activate the height adjustment,would NOT activate.Further,the stitching is obviously glued, and not sewn.There is no way these chairs would be sold to anyone for the stated 'retail amount' of $460.00 as claimed by the Vendor. The leather was also scratched upon arrival.

There is no padding in the seats.The chairs are a poor knock-off manufactured in a sweatshop in some 3rd-world country and imported by a slickster charging a high markup.

We contacted the Vendor.He stated he would make arrangements from Fed Express to have the chairs returned.I wasted an entire day waiting for Fed Express - eventually I contacted Fed Ex and they informed me the vendor had contacted Fed Ex in order for the vendor to get 'his' refund, but that he had made NO arrangements to get the items picked up from my home.

Vendors of such dubious reputation should not be allowed to sell on Amazon.

Pasted is a response from the vendor:
"We called Fedex to get these picked up.

Its out of our control, when Fedex drivers are gonna come.

We are not Wal-Mart you cannot buy and just return.

Review of Solid Wood Ultralight Futon Frame with 8" Futon Mattress

We should have been more careful. There is little information provided about the product (length, width, weight, etc) but it looked good so we bought it. Seeing it changed our minds; the frame is very heavy, maybe 60 pounds, and the mattress is on the small size and seems to be all low density foam.

Communicating with the seller on the return was difficult; a series of calls and messages and delays in replying to emails. Cost of return to us is about $90 (we're paying for shipping BOTH ways, it's in the fine print).

I doubt we will do business with the seller again.

We ordered this futon as a guest bed. The frame arrived very quickly and is really sturdy and well made. We called the company because we did not receive the mattress. The customer service was wonderful. They said the mattress was on backorder but they could send us a better quality mattress from their display right away, for no extra charge. We agreed and received the upgraded mattress right away.
If the mattress we received was an upgrade then the original mattress would not even be comfortable to sit on. We aren't too upset because we've priced futon mattresses and they are not cheap so, you get what you pay for. The frame and the customer service from this company are top notch!!!

Review of LEM Piston Stool Chair-Black Leather

We like these a lot.

My wife suggested them and my initial reaction was to be a little skeptical, especially at the price. I was worried that the mechanicals would not be sturdy (we'll see about longevity- had them for several months and all is still OK), or that the chrome would be cheesey looking.[I hope they don't ever develop Chinese chrome rust spots].
It turns out that they seem to be just fine for our use. The pistons adjust to any height and hold, and also have a wide range of adjustment.

These are the only seats in our kitchen and are around our island in our tiny but beautiful informal house on the water. We have had several small dinner parties with these, and they have worked just fine for all sizes and shapes of people. We are small and short legged, but are open minded and count many tall people among our friends as well. <G>

Be careful, however, if you try to add a stool to the group later. We ordered another pair from another vendor, figuring they probably all come out of the same container in Long Beach and move to various resellers around the country. Different seat material entirely (shiny plastic vs. matte finish fiberboard/plastic of these) and didn't match at all. Had to send them back.

I bought this item from these people June 4th,07. Withing a VERY short time it began to squeak until I had to stop rocking.
I contacted these folks and they said they would respond asap. That has never happened.
They say theu give you 20 days to return the item but it takes at least that long to see if there actually is anything wrong with it. So you pay full price plus approximately 80.00 shipping and handling, tear your hands and arms up putting it together and in less than three months it has squeaked you deaf, leans to one side and rubs the pedastle. You contact these people and get a big sweet promise of helping you then you hear NOTHING. You, like me are out around 300. bucks so you be the judge.
These people are slow to get the item to you and they do not tell you the truth when they say they will 'get back to you asap'
I will NEVER buy anything else from them again. I didn't have that much money to throw away but it certainly looks like that is EXACTLY what has happened.
BUY From these people at your own risk.It is poorly constructed (not worth around 300.00)It is extremely small and tight. The foot rest walks when you rock with your feet up. JUNK!

AFTER WRITING THIS (THE NEXT DAY) I GET A PHONE CALL FROM THE COMPANY REP.
THEY ARE SENDING A REPLACEMENT CHAIR TO ME AND HAVING THE DEFECTIVE ONE PICKED UP BY FED EX AS SOON AS WE GET IT BOXED UP TO RETURN.
I WAS SURPRISED TO HEAR FROM THEM SINCE IT HAD BEEN ABOUT A WEEK SINCE I CONTACTED THEM BUT SINCE I HAVE INDEED HEARD FROM THEM I MUST RE-WRITE MY ASSESSMENT OF THE COMPANY WE RECIEVED THE CHAIR FROM AND THEIR ATTENTION TO THE PROBLEM I HAD AS WELL AS THE RESOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM.

Even if the wood is beautiful, the workmanship is not: cheap golden bolts which need to be tighten, sharp cutting angles which need to be sanded and the worst: all the chairs are not the same: 3 are slighty higher and some armrest angles are different. We are very happy with our four chairs.They are comfortable, easy to assemble and look great.They are not as wonderful as the Arne Jacobson Series-7 chairs that they copy, but one of those is $350.We liked the free shipping too.

The table was easy to put together, just a matter of lining everything up correctly. The cushions are fabulous. I only wish the umbrella had an actual stand to put the pole into. The price was amazing.

Review of Mediterranean Sands Adjustable Patio Lounger

I was VERY pleased with the construction and comfort of this lounger, but the price to ship it to Maryland was ridiculous!I paid about $260/each for the item itself (I actually bought a pair), but was astounded to have to fork over another $180 for shipping!!If the product was available locally, I would have saved alot of money,...but, I could only find it online and had to bite the bullet!I was very impressed with the fast shipping, although ABF Freight took several days to deliver it to me after it arrived in Maryland.

I also ordered the Garnet-colored cushion that is shown as a recommended accessory, but that is taking a lot longer to arrive.All in all, I am very pleased with the purchase,....so far.

Review of Leather Monte Carlo Club Chair

I have two of these chairs and one love seat. They are the perfect size for small living rooms. I have a dinning room/ living room combo and the regular size furniture that sells on most furniture store would not fit in my space. This is like a smaller version of those very pricey furniture you see out there. The leather fills expensive, the seats are a little on the hard side, but I think that is perfect for my taste.
