Review of Faulkner XL Recliner Towel with Pockets

With a little tweeking THIS TOWEL would be great. I like the pocket that goes over the top of the chair to keep in from sliding down. The three pockets on the other side are very handy to carry and store items in while using the chair.

The towel IS a nice idea but it isn't quite wide enough. It needs another inch or two.It is not long enough by a LONG shot. I was supposedly sent the XL to go with my XL lounge chair. But the towel needs at least 6" just to cover the bottom of the cushioned part of the chair. If I had sun lotion on my legs it would get all over the bottom of the chair. After a while, I would think that would stain the chair or cause a breakdown in the cushioning.

Like I said NICE IDEA!! But NEEDS A LITTLE WORK.I would recommend getting it for the chair. I might even recommend that if you have a regular size chair that you get the XL size towel.(If anyone does that and finds out that the towel is WAY WAY to big, let me know and I'll trade you. That might mean that I was sent the regular one instead of the XL.)

The cushions were smaller than advertised by about 1-2 inches depending on the cushion. Also the middle of the seats and backs have parts of the cushions stitched together which kind of feels dated.

I got this chair from Amazon and it was on sale for around $100. It is a beautiful chair but it was difficult to put together since one of the holes didn't line up. The wood cracked a little on the under side of the leg but I didn't mind since I got it for such a good price and returning it after I had already assembled it didn't seem easy. That said, it was fairly easy to put together and has a nice solid but still soft cushion. It might be good to note that I wouldn't call the wood "java", I would call it black. All-in-all, I would recomend to wait until it goes on sale because it's a great chair for less than $200 but not more.

I have a ocuple of double chaise lounge chairs and used to go through the gray vinyl chair covers every year because when flipped over the back of the chair and left in the sun the plastic from the two sides would melt into each other and then crack and peel.This cover is not only much prettier than the gray vinyl covers but it is made out of a coated fabric that isn't affected by heat but is still waterproof.I'm expecting that these will last for quite a few years and they were actually less expensive than the gray vinyl ones.

No Beige, Yellow, or country Blue for my nursey. Not wishing to hurl from pastel overload I purchased this set for my baby's room and am extremely pleased.
It's very comfortable and plush feeling, easy to keep clean and the Pleather is tough enough not to be ripped by doggie claws. And the ottoman is great fun for letting your dog "surf" on.

We purchased this chair from Amazon a yr ago.After about 9 mos the ropes frayed and in Dec completely broke.The chair has been on the floor for over a month. I am relatively happy with this chair, but this wasn't the perfect recliner that I had been hoping for.In the spirit of full disclosure:

- First of all, shipping was over $80 (to IL), so the price listed is a bit misleading.
- The cushions are comfortable, but thin and rather stiff.Don't expect to sink into soft, cushy, leatherette heaven when sitting down.
- Finally, and most importantly, the recliner does not recline particularly far.You won't get anywhere near horizontal on this chair.It's comfortable, but think "economy airline seat" with respect to the angle to which it reclines.This chair is primarily a rocker- and it performs exellently in this respect.

Negatives aside, it's a fine chair. It seems to be very solidly built.It ships fast and is a comfortable rocker. My pets fight to nap on it. I risked ordering the "plum" color, because I wanted a darker chair that would fit in with a dark brown decor.It turns out that the "plum" color is essentially dark brown- with no hint of purple or red- which was perfect for me.

If you are not bothered by any of the issues I described above, then it would certainly be a solid choice.

I bought two of these last year and am ordering a couple more to go with them. They are stylish, functional, hold up well.The only quibble I have is that the wheels could be sturdier.The wooden wheel breaks apart easily; we don't move the chairs much, but do leave them outside year-round (we have mild winters).It is a very nice looking wheel but could be a bit more functional with sturdier wood trim. I would still recommend this chair, and in fact am buying a couple more for myself.

Review of Faulkner XL Recliner Desert Sand/Black Mesh with Wood Arms

This is one incredibly comfortable chair. This chair has supplanted my adirondack chairs as my favorite backyard respite. It is great for sunning, reading, and even napping. I am not a napper, and I've fallen asleep in the reclining position a few times already.

The chair seems quite sturdy, and has doubled-up bungee cord where the tension is the highest. The Mesh is quite comfortable against the skin, and breathes even on a very hot day.

Don't think you will be able to sit in this chair for a 'couple of minutes' to rest. I guarantee you will be there a long time.

Unless you're very picky about the color (as my wife is), I'd go with the simple green XL mesh. I think it's $20 less than this one.

My only concerns: It is hard to get into and out of because I don't think you can just 'plop' into this chair unless you're less than 110 lbs, and I'm not sure about the long term durability of the wooden inserts.

I purchased several of these chairs, for my husband and other male relatives.It is the most comfortable lawn chair we've ever had.The mesh is cool to sit on and comfortable. It adjusts easily to a reclining position and has a simple lock on the arm rest to keep it in place.I'm putting one of these on my Amazon.com wish list so I can have my own.

Review of Outback Chair Hammock Stand

The chains to hang the hammock from the stand were missing from the box. When I contacted the seller they were very polite and replaced the chains but would not send them to me via overnight shipping as Amazon does when I've dealt directly with Amazon for a problem with a purchase. I bought the stand for a party and could not use it then since I had to wait a week for the chains.

This bag is extremely well made. AND, it is oversized to accommodate other things you might want to take along with your folding chair.In my case, I take a 3" thick "egg-crate" mattress pad that makes the chair much more comfortable, and I take a substantial lumbar supporter. The bag swallows up the folded chair plus the sleeping pad wrapped around it, and the lumbar support with no problem.OK, pack a couple of shirts and trousers in the folded part of the chair, too.In the car trunk, the bag goes in first - flat - then everything else can be packed on top of it, or I've checked it just as is when i fly. After many flights and car trips, there's still no rip, tear, or broken zipper.Definitely an excellent buy, and it increases the utility of taking the folding chair by a great deal.
